About the Role
We are seeking Construction Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks that align with your skills and capabilities, all while ensuring compliance with project contracts and delivering exceptional customer service that meets or exceeds expectations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Erecting scaffolding or ladders to assemble structures above ground level.
- Creating structures, forms, or chutes and pouring concrete.
- Covering subfloors with building paper to prevent moisture intrusion, and laying various types of flooring.
- Filling cracks or defects in plaster or plasterboard and sanding patches.
- Positioning and securing steel bars, rods, cables, or mesh in concrete forms using various tools.
- Performing general labor tasks, including site cleaning as directed by management.
- Loading and unloading construction materials, tools, and equipment, and transporting them around job sites.
- Completing all other duties as assigned.
Pay Conditions
We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $25.00 to $32.00, depending on experience.
Hours of Work
A minimum of 30 hours of work is guaranteed each week.
Requirements
While some experience in the construction industry is preferred, it is not essential. We are looking for individuals who are friendly, possess strong time management skills, and demonstrate a commitment to learning and developing their skills in the industry. A sound understanding of health and safety procedures is also important.

Location
You may be required to work in multiple locations throughout New Zealand, including Auckland, Northland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Gisborne, Whanganui-Manawatu, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, Canterbury, West Coast, Otago, and Southland. Flexibility in work locations is preferred.
