About the Role
We are looking for full-time Aluminum Fabricators to assist with project work throughout New Zealand. This position will involve working on various construction and fabrication sites, with locations determined by project demand. The role is well-suited for experienced fabricators who are open to relocating or traveling as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing aluminum components and structures. You will read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints, operate hand and power tools relevant to aluminum fabrication, and ensure that all work complies with health, safety, and quality standards. Additionally, you will be required to work across different sites as directed by project deployment.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you should have a minimum of three years' experience in aluminum fabrication, whether locally or overseas. You must possess the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and be skilled in welding, cutting, and shaping aluminum materials. A trade qualification or NZQA-recognized experience is preferred. We are looking for individuals who can work independently and travel between job sites, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
Nationwide Opportunity and Travel
While this role is listed in Hawke's Bay, we are actively recruiting for positions that will be deployed across all regions of New Zealand, based on project requirements. Specifically, we are looking for candidates from the following regions:
North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington.
South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland.
Applicants from any of these regions are encouraged to apply, and you must be willing to travel or relocate within the country as needed. We will cover relocation costs for successful candidates.
Benefits
We offer competitive pay ranging from $24.00 to $28.00 per hour, with a minimum of 30 guaranteed hours per week. These are full-time, permanent roles, and we provide PPE and tools where required. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects.
