About the Role We are currently seeking full-time Structural Steel Fabricators to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the placement, securing, and tying of structural steel components in accordance with engineering plans. Your work will be vital to ensuring structural integrity and compliance with safety standards. These full-time, permanent positions will be based on project demand, with opportunities available nationwide. Key Responsibilities - Interpret engineering plans and drawings to accurately position and secure structural steel components. - Tie reinforcement steel using appropriate techniques for various reinforcement systems. - Collaborate with site teams to ensure the timely and safe installation of steelwork. - Adhere to all health, safety, and quality standards on-site. - Work efficiently within large construction teams while meeting strict deadlines. Skills and Experience Required - A minimum of 2 years of experience in structural steel placement and reinforcement tying, whether locally or overseas. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical and engineering drawings. - Strong physical fitness and manual dexterity. - Familiarity with safety procedures and quality control in steel construction. - Experience in commercial, civil, or infrastructure construction projects is preferred. - Relevant trade experience or qualifications will be advantageous. The regions include: North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington. South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland.
