About the Role
We invite you to embrace your competitive spirit in our full-time sales position within the Furniture department at our Papanui store. In this customer-focused role, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and building lasting relationships to ensure an excellent shopping experience. We will provide you with comprehensive training on our furniture products, enabling you to leverage your knowledge effectively while assisting customers.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Selling furniture products and services
- Utilizing our point of sale and customer service system
- Maintaining the presentation of the furniture department
- Assisting with operational tasks, such as stock takes
- Working across a 7-day roster, which includes weekend and public holiday shifts
About You
We are looking for a motivated communicator who is eager to put in the effort and enjoy the rewards of a sales role with uncapped commission. Your income potential is in your hands.
Ideal attributes for this position include:
- A quick learner with a genuine interest in the retail industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in computer use and basic numeracy skills
- Previous experience in retail sales and POS systems is desirable
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays
