About the Role
We are currently seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our cohesive and well-functioning multidisciplinary community team. This part-time position offers 0.9 FTE, equating to 72 hours per fortnight, and is based at Waitakere Hospital, with working hours from Monday to Friday.
As a Clinical Psychologist in our team, you will play a vital role in engaging in various activities, including:
- Conducting psychological and neuropsychological assessments
- Implementing evidence-based interventions and therapy modalities
- Performing specialist mental health assessments and safety planning
- Coordinating care for clients receiving psychological interventions
This role provides an excellent opportunity to enhance and expand your clinical skills across a range of psychological interventions, including neuropsychological assessments, all within a supportive work environment.
Under the APEX collective contract, psychologists are entitled to receive up to $2,500 annually for Continuing Professional Development, which can be accumulated over two years for a total of $5,000. This funding can be used to attend international conferences, engage in multiple workshops, or purchase books and subscriptions.
Requirements
To be considered for this permanent position, applicants must hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
