About the Role
We are currently seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our cohesive and well-functioning multidisciplinary community team. This is a permanent, part-time position, with a workload of 0.9 FTE, totaling 72 hours per fortnight, based at Waitakere Hospital. The role is Monday to Friday.
As a Clinical Psychologist within our team, you will engage in a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Conducting psychological and neuropsychological assessments
- Providing evidence-based interventions and therapy modalities
- Performing specialist mental health assessments and safety planning
- Coordinating care for a portion of clients receiving psychological interventions
This position offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your clinical skills across a broad range of psychological interventions, including neuropsychological assessments, all within a supportive work environment.
Our psychologists benefit from the APEX collective contract, which allows for up to $2,500 per year for Continuing Professional Development. This funding can be accumulated over two years, providing you with the potential for up to $5,000. This support can be utilized for attending overseas conferences, workshops, purchasing books, and subscribing to relevant journals.
Requirements
