    About the Company Te Whatu Ora Waitemata is dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health services to individuals over the age of 65 who are facing mental health challenges and cognitive changes. About the Role We are currently seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our cohesive and well-functioning multidisciplinary community team. This is a permanent, part-time position, with a workload of 0.9 FTE, totaling 72 hours per fortnight, based at Waitakere Hospital. The role is Monday to Friday. As a Clinical Psychologist within our team, you will engage in a variety of responsibilities, including: - Conducting psychological and neuropsychological assessments - Providing evidence-based interventions and therapy modalities - Performing specialist mental health assessments and safety planning - Coordinating care for a portion of clients receiving psychological interventions This position offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your clinical skills across a broad range of psychological interventions, including neuropsychological assessments, all within a supportive work environment. Our psychologists benefit from the APEX collective contract, which allows for up to $2,500 per year for Continuing Professional Development. This funding can be accumulated over two years, providing you with the potential for up to $5,000. This support can be utilized for attending overseas conferences, workshops, purchasing books, and subscribing to relevant journals. Requirements To be considered for this position, you must hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
