About the Role
We are currently hiring full-time Scaffolders for various projects across all regions of New Zealand. This is a full-time, permanent position with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week. The pay ranges from $26.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on major infrastructure and commercial projects. We provide all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for building and erecting scaffolding and working platforms for construction projects. This includes constructing stands and tiered seating for public events such as concerts and sporting events.
Your tasks will involve inspecting areas that require scaffolding, making calculations to determine the necessary type of scaffolding, unloading materials, and assembling frameworks by fitting tubing and braces together. You will also be responsible for checking and maintaining scaffolding equipment, ensuring safety through regular inspections of scaffolding structures, and dismantling scaffolding upon project completion. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant scaffolding experience. A friendly demeanor, strong time management skills, and a solid work ethic are essential. We value individuals who are committed to learning and developing their skills within the industry and possess a sound knowledge of health and safety procedures. Reliability and a strong work ethic are crucial.
Nationwide Opportunity and Travel
While this position is listed in Auckland, we are recruiting for Scaffolders to be deployed across various regions of New Zealand, based on project demands. These regions include:
North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington.
South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland.
We invite applicants from any of these regions, and candidates must be willing to travel or relocate as necessary. The company will cover relocation costs.
