About the Role We are currently seeking Scaffolders to become an integral part of our operations. We value organization and trustworthiness, and we are looking for individuals who take pride in delivering quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will be motivated and results-driven, with the flexibility to travel across the country to assist with various projects. As a Scaffolder, your main responsibilities will include: - Building and erecting scaffolding and working platforms for construction projects, as well as constructing stands and tiered seating for public events such as concerts and sporting events. - Inspecting areas that require scaffolding and calculating the necessary materials. This includes unloading equipment, assembling tubing and braces to create frameworks, and installing ladders, rails, and other attachments. - Checking and maintaining scaffolding equipment, conducting safety inspections of scaffolding structures, and dismantling scaffolding upon project completion. - Performing additional duties as assigned. Requirements To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills: - A minimum of one year of relevant scaffolding experience. - A friendly demeanor, strong time management abilities, and an excellent work ethic. - A commitment to continuous learning and skill development within the industry. - A solid understanding of health and safety procedures. - Reliability and a strong work ethic. Benefits We offer competitive pay ranging from $26.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience. A minimum of 30 hours of work is guaranteed each week. The primary locations for this role include Auckland, Waikato, Northland, Nelson, Canterbury, and Otago. This position is permanent and full-time.
