About the Role To support our mission, we are seeking two Gardeners: one part-time role based in Botany and one full-time position based in Birkdale. Both positions will follow a shift pattern from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. As a valued member of our Villages team, you will play a key role in ensuring that our village and its extensive garden beds and green spaces are well-maintained. You will report directly to the Team Manager and collaborate closely with your crew. Your responsibilities will include: - Creating and maintaining gardens that meet client expectations, which involves sourcing plants and materials, adhering to garden plans, and planting according to best practices. - Managing the day-to-day operations of your designated site. - Communicating regularly with the operations manager, team managers, and clients to promptly address and report any gardening or planting issues. - Prioritizing safety, compliance, and quality in all gardening activities. About You We are looking for candidates with Level 3 or Level 4 National Horticulture qualifications, a Growsafe Certification, and a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role. Additional qualifications and skills we value include: - A full class 1 driver's license with the ability to drive a manual vehicle. - Extensive knowledge of plant species and their maintenance requirements. - The ability to accurately follow and implement gardening plans. - Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with the public and our clients. - A proactive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in every task.
