About the Role We are currently seeking a Permanent Full-Time Coordinator Operational Support (Driver) to join our team at our site in Mount Maunganui. In this role, you will be responsible for the physical delivery of products to multiple customer sites while representing the Compass Group brand. Your responsibilities will include ensuring on-time delivery using supplied vehicles, problem-solving, engaging in physical activity, and cultivating strong customer relationships. This position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week, primarily during education terms. You will have a standard working schedule in accordance with the roster during term time, with the possibility of additional hours during term breaks. Our operations run five days a week, so availability for a rotating roster from Monday to Friday is essential. Immediate availability would be advantageous. Your Responsibilities - Conduct safety checks on vehicles, including fueling, maintenance, and cleanliness. - Perform the pickup and loading of meals, ensuring proper packing, labeling, and sorting at the site. - Monitor meal temperatures and report any delivery discrepancies. - Deliver meals while adhering to driving restrictions and timelines. - Engage with customer liaisons, staff, and occasionally students in a professional and courteous manner to address any raised issues. - Communicate feedback to the manager promptly, keeping feedback providers informed of progress. - Manage the drop-off and pick-up of Cambros at assigned locations. - Take appropriate actions regarding food safety and inform management as necessary. - Report any accidents, incidents, or other events occurring during meal deliveries. - Carry out the maintenance program for all vehicles. - Act as the face of Compass Group and the voice of the customer, fostering positive relationships with key customer contacts. About You Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: - A valid, current Full Class 1 New Zealand Driver’s Licence. - A clean police criminal background check. - Physical fitness to manage multiple stops on a strict timeline. - Reliability and a strong work ethic.
