About the Role We are currently seeking Casual Coordinators for Operational Support (Driver) to join our team at our site in Mt Maunganui. In this role, you will be responsible for the physical delivery of products to multiple customer sites while representing the Compass Group brand. Key aspects of the role include ensuring on-time delivery, problem-solving, and building strong customer relationships. The position operates on an "as and when required" basis, primarily during education terms. You will work according to a roster during term time, and there may be opportunities for additional hours during term breaks. Our operation runs Monday to Friday, and you must be available for a rotating roster. Your Responsibilities - Conduct safety checks on vehicles, including fueling, maintenance, and cleanliness. - Pick up and load meals, ensuring proper packing, labeling, and sorting at the site. - Monitor meal temperatures and report any delivery discrepancies. - Deliver meals while adhering to driving restrictions and required timelines. - Engage with customer liaisons, staff, and students in a professional manner to address any issues. - Communicate feedback to your manager promptly and keep feedback providers informed. - Manage the drop-off and pick-up of Cambros to and from assigned locations. - Take appropriate actions regarding food safety and inform your manager of any concerns. - Report any accidents or incidents that occur during meal deliveries. - Maintain the vehicle maintenance program. - Build positive relationships with key customer contacts, serving as the 'face' of Compass Group. About You Our ideal candidate will possess the following: - A valid and current Full Class 1 New Zealand Driver's Licence. - A clean Police Criminal Background check. - Physical fitness, as the role requires multiple stops on a strict timeline. - Reliability and commitment to the role.
