We are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Grocery/Inwards Goods team in a part-time role.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Inwards Goods/Retail Assistant to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. This position is physically demanding and requires consistent lifting, so being physically fit is essential. Attention to detail and accuracy are crucial for this role, and experience with SAP Inventory systems for goods receipting would be advantageous.
The ideal candidate will have forklift operation experience and hold a current forklift license, or be willing to obtain one.
Responsibilities of the position include:
- Accurately receiving and processing incoming stock
- Unloading deliveries (forklift experience and license required)
- Adhering to Food Safety and Health and Safety policies
- Conducting load splitting
Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following personal attributes:
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to understand and work with our IT SAP Inventory Systems
- Capability to work well within a team
- Competence to multi-task and complete tasks within designated timeframes
- A positive work ethic and attitude
- Physical fitness
The work schedule consists of Monday, Friday, and Saturday, with early morning starts beginning at 5:30 am and concluding by 3:00 pm.
