About the Role
We are currently seeking compassionate individuals to join our friendly team as Caregivers at Logan Campbell Retirement Village in Greenlane, Auckland. We have multiple positions available for those who are dedicated to making our village a wonderful place to live and work.
To be considered for this role, you must meet one of the following qualifications:
- A Level 3 Health and Wellbeing certificate or equivalent combined with two years of relevant experience, or
- A Level 4 Health and Wellbeing certificate or equivalent.
As a Caregiver, you will be expected to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, which may include weekend shifts. The hourly wage for this position ranges from $27.88 to $31.16, commensurate with your experience.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with care and personal needs as outlined in the care plan and under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Observing and promptly reporting any changes in a resident's status or behavior to the Registered Nurse or senior staff.
- Ensuring the safety, privacy, and comfort of residents at all times.
- Demonstrating empathy and understanding of residents' needs, providing appropriate help and support.
- Documenting care provided to residents in an objective and timely manner.
