About the Role
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a qualified Interventional Cardiologist to become part of our established and innovative team at Waikato Hospital in Hamilton, New Zealand. About the Team/Service
As part of our team, you will collaborate with 20 Cardiologists and 6 cardiac surgeons in a dynamic and supportive environment. Our facilities include four cardiac catheterization labs, one of which is a custom-built hybrid lab featuring advanced technology for real-time fusion imaging. Our department is recognized as a leading national center for structural heart disease intervention and is actively developing a pioneering cardiac imaging service throughout the Te Manawa Taki region.
About You
We are seeking candidates who have completed advanced training in Cardiology (FRACP or equivalent). Ideal applicants will possess comprehensive training and experience in complex coronary interventions. Additional expertise in CT coronary angiography and echocardiography is preferred.
