About the Role MEGA Petone, with a team of approximately 150 members, is looking for a highly motivated individual with strong leadership and influencing skills. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing profitability, growth, and operational efficiency across all areas of the store. You will lead and work closely with the team to ensure a primary focus on customer service, while also managing stock, maintaining store standards, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring health and safety compliance. You will report to the General Manager and should possess: - A proven track record in retail leadership - A passion for customer service excellence, with the ability to foster a customer-first culture - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a talent for leading change and implementing improvements - The ability to motivate, coach, and empower teams to perform at their best - An understanding of key retail drivers, including inventory management, margin, and sales performance This role is fast-paced and diverse, requiring a high level of adaptability, resilience, and a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
