Description
About the Company
At Archives New Zealand, we are committed to ensuring effective and trusted government record-keeping for the benefit of all New Zealanders. We preserve and protect over seven million official records, ranging from 19th-century treaties to contemporary documents and data. Our mission is to make this valuable collection accessible to all New Zealanders, allowing them to connect with their rights, entitlements, and stories—both now and for generations to come.
Our organization is currently undergoing a transformation initiative known as Te Ara Tahi, which involves collaboration among Archives New Zealand, the National Library of New Zealand, and Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision. This partnership aims to enhance our services by sharing expertise and resources to better meet the evolving needs of our community. As part of this initiative, we are seeking Archives Support Assistants to join our Kia Rite Team.
