We are currently looking for empathetic and passionate Support Workers to join our diverse services, including Community Rehabilitation and Social Services.
About the Role
In this role, you will be an integral part of a supportive team, assisting our clients in leading independent lives within their homes and communities. Your goal will be to help clients achieve their personal objectives through both practical and emotional support.
Your responsibilities will vary based on individual care plans and may include:
- Meal preparation
- Community outings and integration
- Administering medication
- Providing personal care (such as showering and toileting)
- Assisting with home management tasks
Please note that some roles may require you to travel to surrounding areas, and alternative weekends will be a requirement.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who have a genuine desire to support others and strive for excellence in all they do. While previous healthcare or caregiving experience is desirable, it is not essential. Strong communication skills are important, and healthcare qualifications will be considered advantageous.
Most positions require a full New Zealand driver's license and reliable transport.
