    Community Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics Fellow Kidz First, Manukau Health Park 12-Month Fixed Term, Full-time Join our dedicated team of clinicians as we serve a diverse and vibrant community. We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Paediatric Advanced Trainee to join us at Kidz First. About the Role This is a 12-month fixed-term fellow position that will primarily focus on providing clinical services at Kidz First Ambulatory Care in the fields of developmental and behavioural paediatrics. Your responsibilities will include participating in clinics for Developmental/Disability assessments and multidisciplinary developmental assessments, as well as potential Gateway assessments. Depending on your training needs, involvement in General Paediatrics clinics may also be included. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with Kidz First Community Paediatricians, delivering clinical advisory services to community-based health providers, such as Child Development and Home Care Nursing. Additionally, this role requires participation in regular weekend shifts within the Acute Paediatric Medicine setting at Kidz First Children's Hospital. We ensure excellent support and mentorship throughout your time with us. About the Team/Service/Location At Kidz First, we are committed to delivering 'Healthy Futures Together.' Our multidisciplinary team includes medical, nursing, and allied health professionals, working collaboratively across both community and in-patient settings. Kidz First is one of the largest General Paediatric departments in New Zealand, serving a culturally diverse population with significant health needs. About You We are seeking an Advanced Trainee of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) who is registered with the Specialty Advisory Committees (SACs) in Community Child Health or General Paediatrics and eligible for registration with the New Zealand Medical Council. The ideal candidate will be a team player, able to work across various services while respecting other disciplines. Strong communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and a commitment to addressing health inequities are essential. Experience working with Māori, Pacific, and culturally diverse populations is preferred.
