About the Role
We are currently looking for a highly motivated and skilled Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with a strong interest and experience in the public health sector. This is a full-time position based in Whangarei, where you will play a vital role in our integrated Oral Health Service in Te Tai Tokerau. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of our Oral Health Service.
The Oral and Maxillofacial services we provide to the Te Tai Tokerau population are crucial for ensuring timely patient care and improving access to essential services that may otherwise require extensive travel. As part of Health New Zealand, you will benefit from strong connections and networking opportunities with our Auckland counterparts, enhancing support for this regional service.

About You
To be considered for this role, you must hold a qualification that allows you to obtain dual specialist registration with both the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) and the Dental Council of New Zealand (DCNZ). Preference will be given to candidates with FRACDS accreditation. If you are currently overseas or not yet registered, we can assist you with the application process to obtain MCNZ and DCNZ registration.
