About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled Canvas Fabricator to join our hardworking and close-knit team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from awnings and shade sails to custom-made canvas designs. Each day will present new challenges and opportunities to showcase your talents.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cutting, sewing, welding, and assembling canvas and PVC products
- Operating high-frequency welding machines (prior experience is essential)
- Creating bespoke solutions tailored to the needs of various clients
- Managing stock, tools, and workspace effectively
- Taking pride in your craftsmanship while consistently meeting deadlines
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you will need:
- Experience in canvas fabrication or a related trade
- Proficiency in high-frequency welding
- A good level of physical fitness
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- A full driver’s licence
Benefits
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $35.00 to $40.00, depending on your level of experience. This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week. We also provide opportunities for growth and advancement, allowing you to develop your skills and take on increased responsibilities.
