About You As a Clinical Physiologist (Cardiac), your responsibilities will include: - Delivering high standards of care in cardiac practice, performing diagnostic tests and associated procedures. - Providing expert clinical support to patients, families, and healthcare professionals. - Contributing to the development of local protocols and guidelines to ensure patient-centered care. - Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions, while actively participating in continuous professional development. You will play a crucial role in conducting diagnostic tests such as ECGs, Holter and blood pressure monitoring, and exercise tolerance tests. Additionally, you will assist in follow-up care, provide haemodynamic monitoring during cardiac studies, and support other cardiac procedures as needed. Experience with pacemaker implants and follow-up care, as well as familiarity with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), is desirable but not essential.
