About the Role
We are currently seeking a Planned Care Services Coordinator for a full-time, fixed-term position of 12 months at Tauranga Hospital. This role is integral to our team, which supports patients across all clinical services in accessing timely planned care (elective) services. Reporting to the Planned Care Services Manager, the successful candidate will possess a working knowledge of the patient management system WebPAS, as well as an understanding of planned care service processes, including Faster Cancer Treatment timeframes.
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute positively to the delivery of planned care services for our growing population in the Bay of Plenty.

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, Bay of Plenty Hauora a Toi operates across two hospitals in Tauranga and Whakatane, serving a population of approximately 308,000 across major centers such as Tauranga, Katikati, Te Puke, Whakatane, Kawerau, and Opotiki. About You
In the role of Planned Care Services Coordinator, you will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to enhance the delivery of care to patients. We are looking for candidates who have:
- Proven experience in a large, complex environment, which is desirable
- The ability to provide high-quality data, analysis, and reporting
- A commitment to supporting wider planned care teams in alignment with Health New Zealand's objectives
- A willingness to engage in project work within the organization
