Our branch in Tauranga is looking for a skilled Branch Mechanic to join our small, hardworking team. About the Role We are seeking a Branch Mechanic who is either trade-qualified or possesses significant relevant experience in working with a variety of hire plants, including both petrol and diesel equipment. This position offers a busy and varied schedule, ensuring that no two days are alike. It is an excellent opportunity to expand your skill set and enhance your existing product knowledge. In this role, you will be part of a close-knit team, and we value collaboration. You should be prepared to assist across various areas of branch operations as needed to ensure that we meet our customers' needs effectively. What You'll Do - Perform repairs and maintenance on a wide range of hire plant equipment - Provide expert assistance to colleagues and customers within the branch - Attend to breakdowns and scheduled maintenance at customer sites - Respond to phone inquiries and create customer contracts - Offer advice to customers regarding tools and machinery - Support and mentor newer team members What You Will Need - A full Driver Licence (additional classes and endorsements are advantageous) - Basic to intermediate computer skills - A relevant trade qualification or substantial job experience with both petrol and diesel equipment Benefits We offer ongoing training and development opportunities to help you grow your career.
