About the Role We are looking for a skilled individual to join our bakery team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials and accurately weighing ingredients. You will engage in various tasks, including kneading, maturing, cutting, molding, mixing, and shaping dough and pastry goods. Your responsibilities will also include preparing pastry fillings and operating machines that roll and mold dough. You will monitor oven temperatures and product appearance to determine appropriate baking times. Additionally, you will coordinate the processes of forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning, and cooling of bakery products. As part of your duties, you will be glazing buns and pastries, as well as decorating cakes with cream and icing. Maintaining cleanliness and compliance with occupational health and safety regulations is crucial, so you will be responsible for emptying, cleaning, and greasing baking trays, tins, and other cooking equipment. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have relevant experience and knowledge in the baking industry.
