About the Role We are currently seeking full-time Support Workers to join our team in our Auckland residential services. In this dynamic and diverse role, you will assist people with various aspects of daily life, enabling them to participate in activities they enjoy, such as swimming, personal care, meal preparation, household management, and learning essential life skills. The responsibilities are varied and rewarding. Support Workers will be part of a dedicated team that works shifts or specific rosters, providing 24/7 support. Some rosters may also include opportunities for additional sleepover payments. Requirements We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping others and who demonstrate kindness and understanding. While previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, particularly with disabilities and challenging behaviors, it is not mandatory. A full driver's license is essential. We seek energetic and outgoing individuals who can inspire and motivate others to achieve their goals. It is important to be respectful of different lifestyles and perspectives. Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends, is required. Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness are crucial in this role, as the individuals we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests. Benefits We offer competitive pay rates ranging from $23.50 to $29.10 per hour, along with a variety of shifts.
