About the Role
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Team Leader for our Residential Home located in Auckland. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team in assisting our clients to live as independently as possible. You will also create a safe environment where they can build confidence, establish friendships, and engage with the community.
The position involves a combination of morning, afternoon, and evening shifts throughout the week. Flexibility to support your team across various shifts is essential.
What Does the Role Involve?
As a Team Leader, your primary responsibility will be to assist individuals with disabilities in achieving independence while also leading and motivating your team. Your daily tasks may include:
- Facilitating meaningful activities at home and in the community that promote independence and involve family.
- Performing household duties such as meal preparation, daily care routines, and personal care.
- Collaborating with your team to consistently implement personal support plans, ensuring effective teamwork and communication.
- Providing a warm and nurturing living environment that welcomes ideas and feedback, supporting each individual in reaching their personal goals.

- A full New Zealand driver’s license and the ability to transport passengers safely in our disability vans.
