About the Role
We are currently seeking full-time Waterproofers to join our team. This position offers opportunities across multiple regions of New Zealand, depending on project demand. The successful candidates will be reliable and skilled professionals adept at working with various waterproofing systems and materials. These are full-time, permanent roles with a minimum guarantee of 30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Applying waterproofing membranes and protective coatings to foundations, basements, balconies, and roofs.
- Interpreting job specifications and adhering to safety requirements.
- Operating hand and power tools specific to waterproofing tasks.
- Following building code standards and health and safety guidelines.
- Effectively working across different job sites and environments.
Skills and Experience Required
To be considered for this position, candidates should have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in waterproofing or a related field.
- Familiarity with torch-on membranes, liquid systems, and sealants.
- A trade qualification or NZQA-recognised experience is preferred.
- The ability to work independently and travel between job sites.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
Nationwide Opportunity and Travel
While this position is listed in Waikato, we are actively recruiting for waterproofers to be deployed throughout all regions of New Zealand. The regions include:
North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington.
South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland.
Candidates are encouraged to apply from any of these regions and must be willing to travel or relocate within the country as necessary. Relocation costs will be covered by the company.
Benefits
We offer a competitive pay rate ranging from $25.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a stable work schedule, we provide personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools where required, along with opportunities for nationwide deployment.
