About the Role
We are currently seeking a full-time Schedule Coordinator to join our dynamic and supportive team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring smooth operations by effectively managing staff schedules. This position offers a starting salary of $23.84 per hour and provides an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we support.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Building Strong Relationships: You will establish and nurture trust with Support Workers and Service Managers to ensure effective roster coordination.
Efficient Communication: Engaging in regular phone interactions with Support Workers will be essential for managing rosters and addressing any short-notice sick leave requirements.
Adaptability in High-Pressure Situations: You will demonstrate creative problem-solving skills, resilience, and composure to meet deliverables amidst unforeseen challenges, ensuring uninterrupted services for the individuals we support.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following:
- Previous scheduling or rostering experience is desirable but not required; full training will be provided.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a professional telephone manner.
- Experience in conflict management, with the ability to reach quick resolutions.
- Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to manage shifting demands while maintaining steady performance.
- Creative problem-solving skills, with a knack for improvising practical solutions when plans are disrupted.
- Proficiency with computer systems, including the Microsoft Office suite, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
