Telecommunications Operator, New Plymouth Hospital, Casual
We are currently seeking a motivated and energetic team player to join our team at the Call Centre, which serves as the central hub of New Plymouth Hospital. This casual position is available as needed, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to our healthcare services.

About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of important functions, including:
- Communication and customer service
- Hospital emergency response coordination
- Administrative tasks
- Alarm monitoring
- Handling patient and general inquiries
- Upholding the principles of Tino Rangatiratanga
- Adhering to health and safety regulations

About the Team/Service/Location

About You
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience in administration within a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong oral communication and proven customer service skills are essential.
- Proficiency in computer applications, such as MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage varying workloads.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
- Availability to work all shifts.
- A good sense of humor and a collaborative spirit, with a desire to work in a vibrant environment.
