About the Role
We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced, registered Mental Health Nurse to join our friendly and dynamic Fresh Minds team in Manukau, in a part-time capacity of 0.5 FTE.
In this role, you will collaborate with primary care providers to promote the Wellness Support model of care. Your responsibilities will include working alongside GP practices and various primary care health professionals to enhance their understanding of mental health and addiction issues, as well as improve their skills in identifying and addressing these challenges effectively.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you will need the following qualifications:
- Registration as a mental health practitioner, with a postgraduate qualification in Mental Health, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), or Primary Mental Health Addiction credentialing.
Experience Required:
- A minimum of two years of postgraduate work experience, demonstrating competency in mental health and addiction issues across the age spectrum.
- Proven ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Knowledge of health systems and models of care.
- Demonstrated experience in adult-centered training and learning.
