About the Role
We are currently seeking a drainlayer or an experienced drainage laborer to join our dedicated team working on stormwater, sewer, and water mains for new subdivision projects in Christchurch, specifically between Hornby and Rolleston. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing company with a close-knit team of under 20 staff members, where your skills and work ethic will be highly valued.
Wages for this position range from $27.00 to $38.00, depending on your experience and the contributions you bring to our team.
Location: Hornby - Rolleston, Christchurch

What You Will Be Doing
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Installing stormwater, sewer, and water main pipelines.
- Working at depths of 2 to 4 meters using trench shields.
- Setting up pipe lasers, backfilling, and ensuring compaction meets specifications.
- Delivering high-quality work as part of a skilled and motivated crew.
What We Require
To be successful in this position, you should have:
- A minimum of 2 years of drainage experience.
- Confidence in using pipe lasers, backfilling, and compaction techniques.
- A safety-conscious mindset, with a focus on productivity and dependability.
- A proactive approach to planning and achieving results.
- A valid Site Safe or Construct Safe certification (we can assist you with this).
- The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
