About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled CoF B Automotive Technician to join our team at VTNZ Rangiora on a full-time basis. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills through our award-winning in-house training programs while enjoying a secure employment environment.
Requirements
We are looking for an individual who is detail-oriented, has strong interpersonal skills, and is dedicated to customer care. The position requires availability for 40 hours per week, with some rostered weekend work.
To be considered for this role, you should possess a CoF B Authority. If you do not have this certification, we can assist you in obtaining it at our training center, provided you have experience as a diesel mechanic. We require at least four years of full-time employment in carrying out repairs and maintenance on all safety aspects of heavy on-road motor vehicles. A minimum Class 2 New Zealand driver's license or equivalent is also necessary.
Please note that the four-year experience requirement can be reduced to three years if you hold a Level 4 qualification or higher that includes the credit and knowledge requirements of the New Zealand Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering (NZQF Level 4) or an equivalent qualification.
