We are currently seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at the Darfield workshop. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact while working in a structured environment.
About the Role
As a Diesel Mechanic with us, your primary responsibilities will include performing routine servicing and minor repairs to ensure our fleet remains road-ready. You will diagnose and resolve mechanical faults across our diverse range of vehicles, including school buses and coaches. Your work will focus on carrying out small fault repairs and general servicing, while ensuring that all tasks meet our high standards of safety and quality.
Requirements
We are looking for a qualified Diesel Mechanic who possesses the ability to work independently while also being part of a supportive team. Strong fault diagnosis and repair skills are essential. You should be a team player, capable of coordinating with both external service providers and internal support teams. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage third-party service providers effectively. A full New Zealand driver’s license (Class 2 or higher preferred) is also required.
