About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will primarily focus on preventative maintenance for our existing plant equipment. The occurrence of large breakdowns or new installations is rare, allowing you to concentrate on maintaining our systems effectively.
You will report to the Engineering Manager while taking responsibility for your own list of preventative maintenance tasks. The position offers a stable work schedule from Monday to Friday, with hours from 10 AM to 8 PM.
Key Tasks
- Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of plant equipment
- Work independently on diagnostics and repairs
- Interpret manuals, diagrams, and maintenance schedules effectively
- Identify and replace worn or damaged components before failure
Requirements
- Trade qualified, ideally holding a Level 4 Mechanical Engineering certificate
- Experience with preventative maintenance in the food industry
- Confident in working alone on diagnostics
- Proficient in mechanical maintenance tasks, including seals, bearings, conveyors, etc.
