About the Company We are a reputable client based in Hornby, seeking to expand our team with a dedicated maintenance worker. About the Role We are looking for a maintenance worker with prior experience in repairing equipment within a chiller warehouse environment, where temperatures can reach as low as -23 degrees Celsius. The position is full-time, operating from Monday to Friday, with hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of daily tasks, including general maintenance of cold storage facilities, defrosting freezer components, and utilizing various tools. Light welding may also be required, along with general warehouse laboring duties. Requirements To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria: - Prior experience in completing repairs within a warehousing environment - Comfort and willingness to work in a cold-store environment (as low as -23 degrees Celsius; freezer suits will be provided) - Physical fitness, with the ability to lift weights of up to 25 kilograms - Availability for an immediate start and a commitment to long-term employment Benefits We offer a competitive pay rate of $30 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
