About the Role We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 Driver to join our dynamic team in New Lynn. This position goes beyond typical driving duties; you will be responsible for transporting vehicles for compliance, loading and securing vehicles safely, and contributing significantly to our day-to-day operations. Requirements - Class 2 Full License: A valid Class 2 license with trailer experience is essential. - Experience Driving Heavy Vehicles: We prefer candidates with at least two years of experience in driving heavy vehicles. Experience in vehicle transportation is advantageous. Candidates must have New Zealand experience. - Reliability and Punctuality: We need team members who can be counted upon to be where they are required. - Safety-Minded: A commitment to prioritizing safety at all times is crucial. - Team Player: A positive attitude and strong communication skills are important for this role. - Flexible and Adaptable: You should be willing to assist wherever needed. Key Responsibilities - Driving and Transport: Safely operate Class 2 vehicles to transport cars for compliance. - Vehicle Loading: Load and secure vehicles with care and precision. - Compliance Focus: Ensure all loads meet safety and legal standards. - Team Collaboration: Work closely with our mechanics and operations team to ensure a smooth workflow. - Customer Service: Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients or at delivery sites. - Record Keeping: Maintain accurate transport and delivery records.
