About the Role We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Deli Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our deli, providing efficient and warm service to our customers. You will assist in preparing a variety of delicious deli items, including roast chickens, specialty cheeses, fresh salads, sliced meats, platters, sandwiches, and custom orders. Your responsibilities will include: - Stocking and merchandising the deli displays to a high standard - Setting up the cabinet and hot box each day - Maintaining food safety standards at all times - Keeping the deli area clean, organized, and inviting through regular cleaning routines (daily, weekly, and monthly) About You To thrive in this role, you will bring: - Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility - Excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service - A motivated and well-organized mindset, along with a positive team attitude - The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Flexibility to work additional shifts if required - Physical capability to perform moderate lifting Available Shifts We currently have two roles available: - Friday and Saturday from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM (17 hours per week) - Sunday to Thursday from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM (42.5 hours per week) Please apply only if you can commit to the specified days and hours.
