About the Role
We are currently looking for a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Bakery Assistant Manager. In this exciting role, you will assist the Bakery Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the Bakery. Your responsibilities will include ensuring smooth production processes, maintaining quality control, and optimizing workflows.
The ideal candidate will manage various tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and staff supervision. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and open communication. If you have a passion for excellent customer service and possess the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and lead the front-of-house team
- Maintain a positive people-first environment while supporting team development and performance
- Oversee production management from the Bakers
- Manage inventory and conduct stocktakes
- Create rosters and manage timesheets as necessary
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Health and Safety requirements
- Maintain pricing compliance throughout the Bakery
- Manage recipes effectively
- Uphold high standards of quality, presentation, and consistency
Requirements
The successful applicant will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and be well-organized, approachable, and calm under pressure. You should have strong customer service experience and the ability to understand customers' needs. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is confidence in managing staff, stock, suppliers, and compliance requirements. Familiarity with SAP would be an advantage.
