About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Change Lead to oversee change management planning and delivery for Hospital and Specialist Services (HSS) projects and initiatives. In this role, you will ensure smooth transitions and successful implementation of new processes, technologies, and organizational changes. Your responsibilities will include evaluating the impact of planned changes and leading structured change management work streams.
You will collaborate with other Change and Project Leads to support service transformation by embedding new ways of working and enhancing processes. This position requires close engagement with various departments, stakeholders, and staff to minimize resistance and maximize engagement. The salary range for this role is between $121,689 and $152,112, depending on your experience and expertise.
About the Team/Service Location
Health New Zealand Capital Coast Hutt Valley District is in the process of planning and implementing significant changes across several infrastructure, service, and operational change programs. The Hospital Network Programme is developing our network of hospitals throughout the district. Currently, we are focused on the Wellington Regional Hospital Emergency Department refurbishment project, which will relocate and expand our Emergency Department and acute services. This is a major multi-year infrastructure project that will bring substantial changes for our services, staff, and patients. Our long-term focus includes planning for the future development of our hospital sites and services.
About You
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A relevant graduate qualification
- 5-10 years of experience at a senior level in the healthcare or public services sector
- 5-10 years of experience managing large and complex change projects, preferably using the PROSCI ADKAR Model or a similar framework
- Strong relationship-building skills to foster connections with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- The energy and enthusiasm to drive change initiatives
