About the Role
As a Cleaner, your primary responsibilities will include cleaning classrooms and restrooms, vacuuming, dusting, mopping floors, performing detailed cleaning tasks, maintaining kitchens and tea rooms, and managing rubbish removal. Your work will primarily take place outside of school hours, but there may be opportunities for interaction with teachers and the public, so excellent people skills are essential.
This position is part-time, working Monday to Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM, totaling 12.5 hours per week. Please note that, as this is a school environment, you will be employed for 40 weeks of the year, with an additional 4 weeks dedicated to term cleaning.
Requirements
Candidates must be able to pass and maintain Ministry of Justice and NZ Police Security Checks. Prior professional cleaning experience is beneficial; however, we are also willing to provide training for those who may not have experience.
