About the Role
We are currently seeking a full-time permanent team member for our Garden Hardware department at our Papanui store. This position requires availability from Sunday to Thursday, totaling 42.5 hours per week. As part of our team, you will contribute to making Papanui Mega the go-to destination for both trade professionals and DIY enthusiasts.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- A solid knowledge of plants and plant care
- Physical strength and capability to lift heavy items
- A willingness to learn about our products and a genuine interest in gardening
- Exceptional time management skills
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- An understanding of a “One Team” culture
- Familiarity with irrigation systems would be an advantage
- Previous experience in retail or roles related to plant health or irrigation is beneficial, but not essential
