About the Role In this role, you will be responsible for building and erecting scaffolding and working platforms for various construction projects. Additionally, you may be involved in constructing stands and tiered seating for public events such as concerts and sporting events. You will need to inspect areas requiring scaffolding, make calculations to determine the necessary scaffolding types, unload materials, and assemble frameworks. This includes fitting tubing and braces together, as well as installing ladders, rails, and other attachments. Furthermore, you will be responsible for checking and maintaining scaffolding equipment, inspecting structures for safety, and dismantling scaffolding once the job is complete. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of one year of relevant scaffolding experience. We are looking for individuals who are friendly, possess strong time management skills, and have an excellent work ethic. A commitment to learning and developing your skills within the industry is essential, along with a sound knowledge of health and safety procedures. Reliability and a strong work ethic are also crucial. Benefits We offer competitive pay starting at $26.00 per hour, with a maximum hourly rate of $40.00. A minimum of 30 hours of work is guaranteed each week. The primary locations for this role include Auckland, Waikato, Northland, Nelson, Canterbury, and Otago.
