About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable Patient Transport Driver to join our team at The Princess Margaret Hospital. In this full-time, permanent position, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients, maintaining our vehicle fleet, and ensuring the smooth operation of our transport services.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport patients, primarily those attending the Burwood Day Clinic.
- Provide occasional coverage for the CHC hospital shuttle or Medical Records Courier.
- Perform regular grooming and maintenance of the vehicles.
- Transport goods and parcels around the greater Christchurch area.
- Assist with Meals on Wheels deliveries.
About You
Skills and Attributes
- A current Class 1 driver’s license with a P endorsement.
- Strong time management, verbal communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
- Attention to detail with a focus on vehicle cleanliness.
- Physically fit to handle the demands of the role.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- A valid P endorsement on your driver’s license or the ability to obtain one promptly.
Desirable
- A current first aid certificate.
