About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Van Sales Manager to lead our team of Van Sales Representatives (VSRs) in the region. This is a hands-on leadership position focused on enhancing sales performance, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering outstanding customer service.
The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:30.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day supervision and support of our Van Sales Representatives. You will work closely with the Regional Convenience Manager to align on business objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the team, including training, development, and performance monitoring
- Coordinating and covering staff annual leave
- Overseeing and assisting with the picking and loading of products
- Driving and executing sales strategies to meet established targets
- Ensuring exceptional customer service and account management
- Accurately handling stock credits and returns
- Ensuring compliance with Food Safety regulations and company policies
- Promoting a culture of Health and Safety in all operational activities
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in sales and team leadership
- A hands-on leadership style and the ability to lead by example
- Strong communication and people management skills
- A valid Class 2 driver's license
- The physical fitness required to support van loading and unloading as necessary
- Knowledge of food safety and health & safety regulations
- Excellent organizational skills, with a proactive and results-driven mindset

Candidates must agree to a Ministry of Justice check, pass an ACC pre-employment check, and successfully complete a pre-employment drug test.
