About the Role We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Van Sales Manager to lead our team of Van Sales Representatives (VSRs) in the region. This hands-on leadership position focuses on driving sales performance, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering outstanding customer service. The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 15:30. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for: - Providing day-to-day supervision and support to the Van Sales Representatives. - Collaborating closely with the Regional Convenience Manager to align on business objectives. - Managing the team, including training, development, and performance monitoring. - Coordinating and covering staff annual leave. - Overseeing and assisting with the picking and loading of products. - Driving and executing sales strategies to meet targets. - Ensuring top-tier customer service and effective account management. - Accurately handling stock credits and returns. - Maintaining compliance with food safety regulations and company policies. - Promoting a culture of health and safety in all operational activities. About You The ideal candidate will possess: - Proven experience in sales and team leadership. - A hands-on approach and the ability to lead by example. - Strong communication and people management skills. - A valid Class 2 driver's license. - Physical fitness to support van loading and unloading as needed. - Knowledge of food safety and health and safety regulations. - A well-organized, proactive, and results-driven mindset. Additional Checks Candidates must agree to undergo a Ministry of Justice check, pass an ACC pre-employment check, and successfully complete a pre-employment drug test.
