About the Role In this role, you will focus primarily on design while benefiting from the mentorship of our experienced Senior Engineers. We offer a supportive environment where you can grow your skills and advance your career. This position is ideal for an Intermediate to Senior Civil Engineer ready to take on new challenges. You will work within a close-knit team of approximately ten professionals in Christchurch, as part of a larger group of around thirty-five. You will be involved in iconic projects that are shaping the infrastructure of the South Island. Our culture prioritizes teamwork and includes regular social events, as well as early finishes on Fridays to celebrate our achievements. You will enjoy a balance between working on design tasks using Civil 3D and witnessing the impressive projects you help bring to life. Requirements To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience: - A civil engineering qualification at diploma level or above - A minimum of 5 years of civil design engineering experience in New Zealand - A proven track record of delivering projects on time, adhering to design specifications, and meeting client expectations - A self-starter attitude with a knack for building relationships both in the office and on-site with external stakeholders - Proficiency in Civil 3D, including design modeling and plan production - A positive attitude towards your career and a commitment to excellence in your work Benefits We offer a competitive remuneration package based on experience, along with ongoing training and development opportunities.
