About the Role We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Adult Emergency Department at Auckland City Hospital. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in adult emergency nursing to provide clinical care for emergency patients while also taking on a professional leadership role alongside both medical and nursing staff in the emergency setting. About the Team The Adult Emergency Department (AED) and Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) at Te Toka Tumai is a level 1 regional major trauma centre, caring for over 85,000 adult patients each year. Our department is committed to continuous growth, upskilling, and research, ensuring the highest levels of clinical practice and quality. We prioritize providing our patients with exceptional care while also focusing on the well-being of our staff. About You We are looking for a candidate who is dedicated to the principles and practices of emergency care. The essential requirements for this role include: - A Nurse Practitioner with at least five years of experience in the specialty of Emergency Department nursing - Endorsement by the Nursing Council of New Zealand to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Adult Emergency Nursing - Alignment with the values of Auckland DHB How to Apply To apply for this position, please click on the "apply now" button.
