We take pride in our dynamic team and are currently looking for an Experienced Nail Technician to join us. About the Role: We are seeking a full-time Nail Technician who is passionate about nail care and aesthetics. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and provide exceptional services to our clients. Your main responsibilities will include cleaning, shaping, and polishing fingernails and toenails. You will also provide hand and foot massages, scrubs, and treatments, while applying artificial nails, nail extensions, gel nails, or acrylics. Creativity is key, as you will design and decorate nails using various nail art techniques and accessories. Engaging with clients is an essential part of the job. You will consult with them to determine their preferences and desired outcomes, advise on nail care including home care tips and product recommendations, and build lasting relationships to encourage repeat visits. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is crucial, so you will be responsible for sterilizing tools and ensuring the cleanliness of your work area. Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must hold a relevant NZQF Level 4 qualification or have at least two years of relevant work experience. We are looking for candidates who possess: - Proficiency in nail care techniques, including manicures, pedicures, and gel/acrylic applications - Strong communication and customer service skills - Attention to detail and creativity in nail art - Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards - The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Flexibility to work with a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays Benefits: We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $25 to $30 before tax, with a minimum guarantee of 30 hours and a maximum of 50 hours of work per week.
