About the Role
As a member of Wormald, you will be joining a supportive and stable team culture where we are passionate about fire protection. For 140 years, we have been the leading fire protection specialists in New Zealand, known for providing reliable safety products and services.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, servicing, and testing various fire protection systems, including fire sprinklers, hose reels, special hazards, and hydrant systems. You will represent Wormald New Zealand Limited on-site in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all systems are installed according to the provided drawings and directions.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Relevant experience in the industry, specifically in installing fixed fire protection systems
- Background in the plumbing industry
- Ability to work from technical drawings
- Competency in fitting pipes, valves, pumps, and accessories within fire fighting systems
- New Zealand residency or citizenship, or a valid New Zealand work visa
