About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Telehandler operator to join our team for a large construction project in the Christchurch area. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a telehandler to lift, load, and transport materials on-site. You will work closely with various trades and sub-contractors, providing assistance as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a telehandler to handle lifting, loading, and transporting materials on-site.
- Perform telehandler operations with a jib attachment.
- Collaborate with and assist multiple trades and sub-contractors as required.
Requirements
- Completion of Unit Standards for a Telehandler (US23637, US 17695).
- Forklift - F endorsement (US 10851).
- Wheels endorsement (US 16701).
- Jib attachment operation qualifications (US3789, US 17695, and US 30072).
- Pay rate will be determined based on experience.
